Clevedon School’s Sixth Formers have produced another excellent set of A Level results this year! Their outstanding achievements saw 21% of the top grades A*/A awarded. Students were delighted with their results and they have, as a result of their achievements, been able to access the courses of their choice at University.
Head of Sixth Form Jeremy Newall commented, ‘We are delighted with how the students have done across the board. They have every reason to feel very proud of their excellent achievements, and equally as impressive has been the way they have supported each other and younger members of the school.’
Notable individual performance came from Samuel Walton, Jack Godfrey, Sarah Mortimer, James Harris, Molly Hocking, Joseph Miller and Natasha Stockwell who all achieved A* and A. They will now be going forward to study a variety of subjects at University including Mathematics, Medicine, Civil Engineering and Primary Teaching.
Headteacher John Wells commented, ‘I am so proud of the accomplishments of all our students of
Clevedon School. The excellent set of overall results, means that our students have more choice than ever before as to what they can go on to achieve. The personalised Sixth Form experience that they have enjoyed at Clevedon School has given them a broad range of skills and competencies within a community-based ethos. This will stand them apart from students in other parts of the country and should give them the confidence to go on to further achievements in the future.’
